Dr. Pintong Chatnarat

Dr. Pintong Chatnarat is a professor of Buddhist Studies with professional skills in psychology and mindfulness-based therapy at International Buddhist Studies College (IBSC), Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. She graduated Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Buddhist Psychology, Faculty of Humanities, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Thailand. She also received 3 Master's Degrees of M.A. in Buddhist Psychology, MBA in Management, and M.A. in Language and Communication. With her deep interest in mindfulness meditation, she also graduated with a Certificate in Mindfulness Meditation (Vipassana) from Faculty of Buddhism. Having received the TOT scholarship from the Embassy of U.S.A. in non-violence communication, she integrates NVC in her work. Almost 10 years that she lived abroad in many countries such as Mexico, U.A.E., South Korea, etc. She has been certified as the MBTC therapist (Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Counseling) from the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand. She also received the Outstanding Award from MCU Alumni for the Best Academic and Innovation Award in B.E. 2562/2019. She currently is pursuing a study in the traditional medical doctor and indigenous pharmacy of Thai Traditional Medicine (TTM). She is interested in conducting research in psychology and health.
